Seating Solutions
Vehicle transfer seats are an excellent option for those with a level of mobility permitting their use. They can be installed into a multitude of vehicles and are able to match the aesthetic of your vehicle.

In some vehicle applications, the original seat can be used with the turny equipment to retain the OEM style.
Wheelchair Lifts
Wheelchair vehicle lifts such as the Bruno Curbsider or Joey offer assistance lifting your scooter or wheelchair into and out of your vehicle. These options are available on a variety of vehicles and are a great alternative for those with a level of mobility which permits their use.

Driving Controls
Driving Controls allow a user to control their vehicle in multiple different ways such as via hand motion, or even with your left leg as opposed to your right.
Different variations of hand controls & left foot gas pedals are available including mechanical and electronic options.

Learning to drive with adaptive equipment can be an unnerving process for many. That said, you are not alone in selecting the driving aid which is right for you. Driver rehabilitation therapists are out there to assist you in selecting and training on the equipment that will be most suitable to your needs.
You do not require a prescription for equipment to assist with transferring and loading (such as turning seats and lifts) however, for any driving aid such as hand controls, spinner knobs, left foot gas pedals, etc, a prescription from a registered driver rehabilitation specialist is required for the installation of the equipment to be commenced.
Hand controls simply attach to the original pedals of the vehicle to operate them or in the case of the electronic model, you activate the hand controls via a button. With either option you are still able to drive the vehicle using the original pedals.
Left foot gas pedals are for the most part universal to majority of vehicles. While certain vehicles require a different model based on the pedal configuration, these are less common.
It can be difficult to determine whether or not a turning automotive seat or full vehicle conversion is the right mobility option for you. That is why we have a team of Mobility Specialists available to help advise you on the best solution to assist you with your transportation requirements.
In many cases, it is an option to be able to use your vehicles original seat when installing this equipment. That said, for certain vehicles, the only option is the aftermarket seat included with the equipment.
